 Preventive Care

At Mary M. Robb, DDS we know the first line of defense against tooth decay is the quality of your preventive care. As much as we love our patients, we would rather you only need to visit us twice a year. There is nothing healthier or stronger than your natural dentition or natural enamel that forms the surface of your teeth. Night guards, sealants, and regular dental checkups are all part of a comprehensive dental and oral health program.

The dental profession has been a leader in health care by promoting preventive care. A healthy mouth helps ensure a healthy body.

Every morsel of information we discuss with our patients involves prevention. Prevention means home care, checkups, cleanings, and fluorides. It means deciding on the correct filling, crown, or veneer bridge and protecting teeth or jaw joints with a mouth guard or a bite adjustment. All of these methods can be employed in an effort to create a beautiful smile that is natural looking and functional.

Every type of treatment we perform for a patient is to establish a healthy mouth that enhances general health and prevents future disease.
